Short and long term opportunities in various locations

Total package between £35,384 - £47,384 GBP per annum depending on location (approximately $55,357 - $74,126 USD per annum)

Robust and efficient Financial Management is essential to the implementation of MAG's work.  We are currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals who would like to be considered for either short or long term Finance Manager positions with MAG in our projects worldwide.

Reporting to the Country Director, the Finance Manager will be a member of the programme Senior Management Team and provide strategic and operational financial leadership to the country programme, including control of expenditure, budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, identification of financial liabilities and administration. In addition, a key aspect of all our Finance Manager roles will be to build the capacity of national support staff in the finance function.

The Finance Manager will be have strategic responsibilities in maintaining, developing and improving financial management systems including internal controls and budget forecasting. You will also be responsible for day to day financial management of the programme including managing cashbooks, payroll and statutory payments.

You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.), or qualified by experience in a similar role. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to report in a timely and accurate manner and the ability to work independently, be managed from a distance and build excellent working relationships with project stakeholders.  


The total salary package for these roles is £35,384 - £47,3984 per annum, which varies depending on location.  Please see the general information for further details on the salary package.
