MAG: Making an impact


Carried out desktop survey and ground appraisal of oil and gas concession areas, clearing mines and UXO from seismic lines and pipeline paths. Provision of ‘easement’ options to avoid areas of high mine and UXO contamination, minimising the need for clearance and subsequently reducing costs and maximising production and flow outputs.

Democratic Republic of Congo

Funded by the World Bank, underwater clearance of Mbandaka Port enabled its reconstruction. Additionally, destruction of surplus ammunition and weapons and training Congolese army and police personnel in stockpile management.


Provision of technical advice and management of destruction activities for the Rwandan army.


Survey of police armouries with analysis of security and training requirements and implementation of required remediation activities.


Design and manufacture of bespoke armoured plant machinery to support clearance of destroyed houses and rubble contamination with cluster bombs.

Angola and Sudan

Route assessment and clearance of large stretches of main supply routes to enable rapid access for humanitarian relief supplies and commercial traffic.


Provided the UN mine action programme in Cyprus with a Quality Management capacity involving accreditation, monitoring and inspection of the demining contractors.


Assisted the Jordanian National Committee for Demining and Rehabilitation (NCDR) with developing their operational and managerial Quality Management capacity.


Provided a Quality Management Monitor for the UXO clearance of a 60 hectare harbour development and riverbank reinforcement project in Quang Nam Province, conducting a risk assessment and monitoring and reporting clearance activities conducted by the Vietnamese Army Engineer Command’s Technology for Bomb and Mine Disposal (BOMICO).
